How DreamInk books are printed and delivered
DreamInk hardcover books are printed and shipped through Prodigi's global print network. Delivery timing depends on where the book is produced, the destination, and the shipping service selected at checkout. Production and delivery windows are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates.
What to expect
Prodigi routes orders through its distributed fulfillment network so books can often be printed closer to the delivery address. That helps reduce transit time and can lower the risk of customs delays for some regions.
- Production usually happens before shipping begins, so shipping estimates do not include print time.
- Most printed products dispatch within roughly 1 to 4 business days, depending on format and lab capacity.
- Faster-moving products can dispatch in as little as 24 to 48 hours in some cases.
Shipping services
Prodigi offers multiple shipping speeds depending on product and destination. Not every service is available in every country.
- Budget: lowest-cost option where available.
- Standard: the normal delivery option for most orders.
- Express: faster tracked delivery in supported regions.
- Overnight: limited availability, mainly in the US and UK on eligible routes.
Typical delivery windows
These are useful working estimates based on Prodigi's published shipping guidance. Actual timing can vary with the exact print location, carrier, and season.
- UK domestic standard: around 2 to 3 business days after dispatch.
- EU standard: often around 5 to 7 business days after dispatch.
- US standard: often around 4 to 6 business days after dispatch.
- Australia domestic standard: often around 2 to 5 business days after dispatch.
- Longer international routes can take roughly 10 to 15 business days after dispatch.
Tracking and delivery support
- Tracked services are more common on standard and express routes than on budget services.
- Tracking availability depends on destination and carrier.
- If a book arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or appears lost after the carrier window, contact DreamInk support with the order number and photos of the packaging or book where applicable.
- DreamInk will review the order with the print partner and may offer a reprint, replacement, refund, or other resolution depending on the issue and available evidence.
Before a custom book prints
DreamInk custom books are reviewed digitally first. For co-created books, checkout happens after the book has a digital read-through and a locked print file. Before placing an order, review the book content, shipping address, quote, and estimated delivery window.
- Creative changes should be made before the print file is locked.
- Production issues, damaged deliveries, and lost shipments should be sent to DreamInk support.
- Address mistakes or content choices that were already reviewed may not be eligible for a free reprint.
- Customers are responsible for accurate shipping details and any applicable local taxes or import duties.
